PAYROLL OFFICER/MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to ensure the smooth running of our payroll processes.

 

The role will involve:

Receipt of payroll data and end to end processing of payroll on a daily basis

Reconciliation of data and issuing of invoices to deadline

Process and submit weekly payroll information to the HMRC including RTI/statutory year end returns and P60’s

Processing leavers and assisting in the administration of the company pension scheme

Handling of any payroll queries and invoice discrepancies

Responsible for all reporting from payroll in line with business requirements

Update all statutory payments as appropriate; SSP, SMP, SPP etc

Maintain and update the payroll database where necessary

Produce sample payroll data for existing or potential new clients

Issue of copy payslips, copy invoices and any other payroll related documents where applicable

Deal with general client/customer queries via telephone and email

Criteria:

Minimum of 3 years payroll experience with extensive use of computerised payroll software with a preference for MoneySoft

You should be confident with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment and able to multitask

Experience of supervising a small payroll team (preferred)

Strong MS Outlook/Excel skills

Must have right to reside and work in the UK

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Are you qualified/ newly qualified or qualified by experience? Are you dynamic, easy going and ready for a challenge? We are looking for an Accountant to join our team of a fast-growing boutique accountancy practice based in the city of London, specialising in film, media and entertainment industry,

 

The role will involve:

Review bookkeeping entries in various accounts software’s

Review TB and the reconciliations of all control accounts

Preparation of profit & loss reports and trial balance for both year-end and management accounts

Presentation of periodic management accounts to stakeholders and directors

Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations

Preparing / reviewing VAT Returns

Assisting/ training junior staff / bookkeepers

Required:

Must have at least 3 years UK experience within an accountancy practice (preparing SME accounts, minimum semi-senior level)

Used to reviewing, correcting and giving feedback to those you manage

Strong bookkeeping skills

Knowledge of Quickbooks online, Xero, Taxcalc and Microsoft package

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop working relationships with clients

Must have right to reside and work in the UK
